Quiet Riot

I'm a newbie here. Wow, I've searched a long time to find a quiet riot fan site that was still active. Last time I posted on a qr board was around '02 or '03.

Now, a bit about myself.....Quiet Riot was, is still, and will always be my favorite metal band. Kevin's passing shocks me still to this day. He is now immortalized in his music he has given us. I'm 34, and have seen QR live more than any other band I've seen. I've met the 'original' four members a few times: Kevin, Frankie, Rudy, and Carlos. (Of course, this is not the original as diehards know them to be.) They were nothing but pleasant to speak to and they even signed some of my LP's/cd's. (even my QR 2 LP!!) I pride myself on the extensive collection I have of QR, from audio files to LP's to VHS and DVD's. Long ago before the internet, I actually did the 'leg work' and sought out most of these gems at record shows and conventions. (Ah, the stories I have on the road...) And, I can even share some VERY rare demos here if the mods say so.

My username will be no mystery to the REAL QR fans here...lol...

Well, I'm waiting to hear from some of you....hope to feel at home here!!
